Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park is a cultural park located in Ungasan, Badung Regency. GWK Cultural Park features an enduring Indonesian cultural heritage with the upcoming monumental Garuda Wisnu Kencana Statue as the Indonesian icon of civilization and the number one cultural icon in Bali.
Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue is the symbol of God Vishnu riding the great Garuda as his trusted companion. Standing at a total height of 120 m, the statue is designed to be one of the world’s largest and highest monumental statues in the world.
Jendela translates as window in Indonesian and this atmospheric restaurant, wrapped in a leafy open-air terrace reveals to-die-for views over Bali. On clear days you can see the island’s spectacular chain of volcanoes looming above the southern plains. Watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean, leaving a trail of crimson streaks in its wake, is a truly unforgettable experience. The enchantment continues as darkness descends and the island blazes with twinkling lights.
Our talented head chef and his team have carefully crafted a menu offering an extensive array of western, Balinese and Chinese cuisine, including a good selection of set menus. This is the perfect opportunity to sample authentic Balinese cuisine with dishes such as Nasi Bukit Jendela Bali featuring a traditional tumpeng (rice tower) served with aromatic chicken curry, seafood sate and grilled snapper. Ikan Bakar Sambal Matah is another Balinese specialty of grilled snapper served with spicy sambal, while Bebek Goreng Krispi is a Balinese favorite of crispy, succulent fried duck. Western dishes include pizza, fish and chips, and sirloin steak, while a children’s menu is also offered.
Open for lunch and dinner, Jendela Bali caters to individuals and groups and can comfortably accommodate larger numbers for corporate events. Join in all the fun of free salsa classes every Friday evenings.
